Lindsay is the co-founder and CEO of Phoenix Professionals. As an attorney, she was intimately involved in the development and application of Title IX policy. For years, she advised students and faculty, including complainants and respondents, on their rights and responsibilities throughout the Title IX process. In so doing, she gained invaluable experience learning what parts of the current Title IX apparatus work for Title IX stakeholders, including both the parties to any Title IX dispute as well as the institution involved. As such, she learned first-hand what parts of the current regulatory scheme leave discretion to schools and how schools have exercised their discretion in different ways to benefit the schools or the students/faculty.

Lindsay was also involved with the Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights in developing Title IX policy and ensuring that any process works for all constituents, including our Nation’s educators and administrative professionals. She has represented students in complaints at the Office of Civil Rights Department of Education as well as in litigation, gaining valuable insight for mitigating risks by ensuring a fair process that abides by the applicable regulations and school policy.

Graduating from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2013, Lindsay is licensed to practice law in Virginia, California, and Washington, DC, as well as in numerous federal district courts and U.S. Courts of Appeal nationwide. With a background in English Literature and Psychology from Indiana University, Lindsay’s commitment extends beyond her professional endeavors.
