Ben is an attorney with extensive experience in the Title IX regulatory and litigation spaces dating back to before he was an attorney. Even before law school, Ben worked with his university to develop a student organization that both educated students about school policy and procedure and presented policy proposals to school administration with the goal of reducing risk and eliminating ambiguities. In law school, Ben developed an extensive first-of-its-kind database of Title IX litigation cases. As an attorney, Ben represents students and faculty, including both complainants and respondents and in doing so, has seen where universities succeed at implementing the current federal regulations and where they might improve.
Ben was also involved with the Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights in developing Title IX policy and ensuring that any process works for all constituents, including our Nation’s educators and administrative professionals.
Ben graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2021. He is licensed to practice law in Virginia and is admitted to several federal courts across the country, including federal district courts and U.S. Courts of Appeal. He graduated with an undergraduate degree in history from John Cabot University in Rome, Italy, and he remains an avid history buff.
